A lot of upcoming horror films have been going viral in the internet. To top it up, we have listed the the most awaited horror films. Here are the list:
- Cloverfield 2 (by Matt Reeves, Drew Goddard, J.J. Abrams) - The next sequel of Cloverfield. Get ready as another horrific monster movie invades your home. If you hadn't had enough with the first sequel, then expect more for Cloverfield 2. The staff (director, producer, writer, etc.) are still busy with the other project so this is still premature. There is no concrete information about the film yet so just stay tuned for more.
- Evil Dead IV (by Sam Raimi) - It has been years since Sam Raimi's Evil Dead Trilogy has been released. With that span of time, rumors have been going around the internet about a possible remake of Evil Dead, or another sequel of the Evil Dead series. Info about the said movie is still not clear, but hopefully, it will be on production some time later.
- Friday the 13th 2 (by Damian Shannon, Mark Swift) - Jason Voorhees is back again to terrorize you as the next sequel of Friday the 13th comes in to the movies. Well, the duo are still busy with their own projects; thus, there is still no movement in the film, but once the duo are finished with their projects, they would start with it hopefully. - Halloween 3D (by Patrick Lussier, Todd Farmer) - This is the third movie in the series. It was supposed to be released earlier in November 2009; however, they said it was a rush for the director since he was still on a project; thus, it has just been recently under development. Probably, it will be released either in 2012 or 2013.
- Jeepers Creepers 3 : Cathedral (by Victor Salva) - After a couple of years, the next sequel of Jeepers Creepers is already in development. It's release date has not been officially stated so let's just wait for more news. ((Set 23 years after the previous film, we follow Trish Jenner (Gina Phillips), who is now a mother. Realizing that the return of the Creeper is just around the corner, she begins to have terrible recurring nightmares of her own teenage son confronting the creature and suffering the same fate as her deceased brother. Now a rich and powerful woman, she's determined to finally put an end to the Creeper once and for all.))
- Piranha 3DD (by John Gulager) - The hungry fishes of Piranha 3D is back. The movie is said to be released this coming June 1, 2012. ((Having awoken from their spring break extravaganza at Lake Victoria, the swarm heads upstream where they look to make a meal out of Big Wet, a local water park where when it comes to fun, nobody does it wetter! Thought they came to get wet, get loaded and get some, the staff and patrons get more than they bargained for when they must face the fiercest, most bloodthirsty piranhas yet. Lead by the strong-willed, studious Maddy and her friends, Barry and Kyle, the trio must dive in and take on these man-eating creatures using every ounce of their being...but can they be stopped?))
- Prometheus (by Ridley Scott) - This has been a popular trends in the horror movies. This must be a great film considering it is so popular in a lot of sites. We'll just hope its not another flop in the horror genre. ((A team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.))
- Silent Hill : Revelation 3D (by Michael J. Bassett) - The first movie in this sequel was a great one. The game as well was quite a good one. It was able to garner million of fans. Now, another Silent Hill will be released this coming October 26, 2012. ((The sequel follows Heather Mason and her father, who have been on the run - always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn't fully understand. Now, on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by horrific nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she's not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her in Silent Hill forever.))
- Resident Evil : Retribution (by Paul W.S. Anderson) - The next Resident Evil movie is finally going out this coming September 14, 2012. I hope its really gonna be a horror movie than an action movie with matrix style. (( The Umbrella Corporation’s deadly T-virus continues to ravage the Earth, transforming the global population into legions of the flesh eating Undead. The human race’s last and only hope, ALICE (Milla Jovovich), awakens in the heart of Umbrella's t clandestine operations facility and unveils more of her mysterious past as she delves further into the complex.
